LINE-X is a spray-applied polyurethane / polyurea coating that goes on as a liquid and cures in seconds to form a seamless, waterproof shell. Originally developed as a truck-bed liner, the coating now protects everything from farm machinery to bridge supports because it bonds at the molecular level to metals, concrete, plastic, fiberglass and wood, leaving no gaps where water, salt or dirt can attack.
Laboratory tests show the cured material combines very high hardness with enough flexibility to absorb shocks. It contains no volatile organic compounds, can be sprayed on vertical surfaces without dripping and resists most fuels, solvents and acids. The result is a barrier that shrugs off scratches, chemical spills, UV light and rust for years with minimal maintenance.
Its toughness is not just theoretical. A military variant called PAXCON kept a cinder-block wall intact after a field test simulating a car-bomb explosion, and the coating has been applied to parts of the Pentagon for blast mitigation. Popular-science programmes and independent garages have filmed LINE-X protecting light bulbs, watermelons and even raw eggs dropped from height, underscoring how a thin layer can spread impact forces and stop shattering.
Because it is sprayed by trained technicians, LINE-X can be tailored to almost any shape. Vehicle owners use it for bedliners, under-body rustproofing, bumpers and rocker panels, while industry applies it to boats, storage tanks, stadium seating and public-works structures that must survive constant abrasion or harsh weather. More than three million customers have chosen the coating over the past three decades, and LINE-X backs automotive applications with a lifetime nationwide warranty.
LINE-X turns ordinary surfaces into durable “armor” that keeps vehicles and infrastructure working longer, cuts upkeep costs and, when required, adds a first line of defense against extreme impact or blast. See their videos.
